Roman Catholic Weddings in Rome

Catholic Church (One)

This church is in the very heart of the city of Rome, surrounded by the ancient ruins of the historical Roman Forum. The church has a very impressive exterior, yet simple facade when compared with the beautifully decorated interior, with precious marbles, mosaics and frescos which will surprise you. The views are fabulous, and this lovely church can be recommended for both small or large group weddings.

Please contact us for detailed explanation of the procedures to follow, and the documentation you will have to complete.

Catholic Church (Two)

This church is located on the left bank of the  River Trastevere, in a lively picturesque piazza. The facade was rebuilt by Carlo Fontana in 1702. The four Baroque statues above the portal depict Saints  Callixtus, Cornelius,  Julius and Calepodius, who are interred under the altar. The Mediaeval mosaics probably date from the 12th century. The Parable depicted is that of the Wise and Foolish Virgins, with the Blessed Virgin in the centre. On the altar there is a painting known as the Madonna della Clemenza.

The crypt was built in the 9th century to hold the relics of martyrs from the catacombs which were being threatened by Saracen raiders.
