host and guide in Seville who will show you the very best of what
Seville can offer and lead you on a gastronomic voyage of discovery
through this fascinating and vibrant part of Spain:
Short breaks
and holidays can be custom-made to suit you. Visit farms
and cheese-makers, hands-on cookery lessons, relaxation enjoying
the wonderful food and wines and culture of the region. The choice
is yours! - Programmes can be offered from just 2 to
50 persons. Smaller groups ( up to 16 persons
) can enjoy exclusive opportunities for some hands-on cookery,
as well as visits to local markets choosing the ingredients for
the dishes you are going to prepare. We hope the following itineraries
give you some ideas !

DAYS / 6 NIGHTS IN SEVILLE
DAY
ONE (Mon)
Arrival in Seville - Transfer to our hotel and evening meal with
Roger, our guide for the week.

DAY
TWO (Tues)
Full
day excursion into the Sierra of Aracena in Huelva. A mountainous
area north-west of Seville
near
to the Portuguese border. Here is the home of the finest hams
in the world made from the Iberian pig. Hams are cured in the
mountain air for up to 3 years - surely the jewel in the crown
of Spanish gastronomy. There will be the chance to
taste these wonderful hams along with a glass of the finest fino.
Lunch in the best restaurant in Aracena, with a demonstration
of some of the most important local dishes. Lunch will vary according
to season but you can be sure of the best in quality and a superb
dining experience. On our return to Seville, the evening is free
for ( if you have room ) to enjoy a light evening meal locally.

DAY
THREE (Wed)
Cookery
Day: Our teacher; Ruth will collect you from the hotel at 0930
am and we are off to the local market to source the ingredients
for the cookery lesson. We will then prepare a typical three
course Andalusian meal which is enjoyed on the terrace with spectacular
views over the Cathedral and Giralda.
Afternoon
free
Evening:
Tapas tour of Seville, which is considered by many to be the Tapas
capital of Spain !

DAY
FOUR (Thurs)
A
special insight into the second most important sherry town of
spain ( unknown to many tourists )
We
enjoy a visit to a bodega with explanations of the sherry-making
process and tastings. Time permitting, we visit a local market,
before going on for lunch at one of the fantastic seafood resturants
along the bank of the estuary where we ill indulge in the best
local sea food washed down with the finest manzanilla.

DAY
FIVE (Fri)
A
full-day excursion on the trail of Spain's olive oil production.
There will be visits with tastings as well as the chance to enjoy
some of the most spectacular, beautiful scenery in Spain.
At lunch, in one of the area's finest restaurants, expect to sample
local cheeses, soups, charcuterie, lamb, wild boar, venison and
so on. Feeling contented and replete, return to Seville
for Bed and Breakfast.

SIX (Sat)
Cookery
Day: Today Tapas are on the menu. We learn how to prepare some
of the wonderful food we
have
been sampling over the last few days. After a lazy afternoon
( or the chance for some last minute shopping ) we enjoy our farewell
evening meal.

DAY
SEVEN (Sun)
Farewell
and transfer to your airport or railway station for return home
