cuisine and wines of Castelli Romani. Stay in an elegant villa
hotel in Frascati, just 25 minutes by train from Rome, and have
fun sightseeing and cooking with Chef Fabio who will allow you
to have a glimpse behind the scenes in this fascinating and picturesque
part of Italy. The following is only a sample itinerary. Programmes,

Day
One
Pick up from the airport (Ciampino airport)
Transfer to your hotel in Frascati.
Frascati, famous for its wine, and stunning villas from the Renaissance
and Barroco periods is one of the most important towns of the
Castelli Romani area. Just 20 kilometres from ‘Eternal City’.
This four star hotel is situated in pleasant gardens and natural
park, in the Frascati hills with wonderful views over Rome.
We
organize a visit to an organic farm where you can learn about
the process of Mozzarella, then go to other 2 different farms
(agriturismi) to buy the products chef will use for the first
lesson of cooking that night.
In a private house, you will be entertained by the Chef, who will
explain some of the secrets of Italian cuisine, discuss and taste
the wonderful Frascati wine,and local cheeses, and work with you
to prepare a glorious 4 course dinner, which you will then enjoy,
accompanied by a glass or two of Frascati wine. Bed and Breakfast
in your hotel.
Day
Two
After breakfast depart for Rome by train - 25 minutes later you
arrive in the hustle and bustle of the Eternal City. Meet with
Conny Di Martino - your Personal Shopper. Conny will first spend
some time over a cup of coffee discussing the endless possibilities
for you to find wonderful clothes, shoes, leather goods in Rome.
Clothes to suit your image and shape, your lifestyle and your
budget. She will then take you to shops, which no tourist would
ever discover, where the choices are wonderful and the prices
fair. For those really wishing to have a special time, we can
arrange appointments with an image consultant, or stylists, and
beauticians or fashion experts in the heart of Rome.
Perhaps
some pampering at a stylish spa? Among the facilities on
offer:

the trees in the open air, with wonderful Porchetta bought from
a street vendor with crusty bread, fresh tomatoes, olive oil and
peaches. - You take the picnic and take a seat. Your waiter will
provide the wine - A very special way of enjoying lunch in this
beautiful town with terrific views towards Rome.
Afterwards,
perhaps you would like to continue your ‘Shopping and Cooking
with Roman Friends’ and head for the countryside to find
wonderful designer Outlets, with superb discounted prices. Here
you will find CK,David Mayer, Diesel,Docksteps,La Perla, Nike,
Versace, Dolce e Gabano amongst others
Return to Frascati, and perhaps to a special typical restaurant
in Castelgandolfo or Grottaferrata.
