or early spring or perhaps experience an early taste of Christmas
with a special Provençal Cookery course in late November.

perhaps combined with additional night's accommodation at the
beautiful family run villa ' Val des Roses' or perhaps with some
extra special shopping or sightseeing in Nice or Monte Carlo.

Please
forget 'Turkey and Tinsel' and share in some of Anne's own special
tastes of a typical Provençale Christmas:

Five Day Cookery course which will introduce you to some of the
seasonal traditions and customs of the region, such as Le
Jour de la Sainte Barbe (the sowing of wheat for the
nativity crêche on the 4th December)and Le Gros
Souper (The special supper which precedes Midnight Mass)
as well as some delicious and tantalising festive ideas for your
own Christmas table. You will make and taste
Fois
Gras en Gelee de Sauternes, Saint-Jacques Marinees au Citron Vert
et Gingembre, Pintade Farcie avec Chevre et Olives, Bûche
de Noël aux Marrons, and many other special occasion
recipes............. as well as sampling wonderful local wines
and liqueurs. You will also have the chance to accompany
Anne to her favourite market and shops to buy food ( and wines
) to take home with you.
